WHY USE A PEST CONTROLLER?
A licensed Pest Controller is trained in a lot more than just the chemicals they spray around your home. To become a licensed Pest Controller they must pass modules including; pest identification, breeding habits and biology. To begin with, they will inspect your house to look at any environmental factors triggering the infestation.
They know where and how to look for breeding areas and entry points.
If chemicals are required the technician will use the least amount needed to treat the area.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY HOUSE BE TREATED FOR PEST CONTROL?
Usually once a year is recommended.

ARE THE CHEMICALS USED SAFE FOR CHILDREN AND PESTS?

YES. Our chemicals are plant based chemicals. This makes it safe for both your children and fur-babies.

SHOULD I CLEAN BEFORE TREATMENT OR AFTER?

This is a very popular question. Always clean BEFORE our technician treats your home. Once the chemicals are sprayed it takes several days to let them soak in and really do their job. If the floors are mopped immediately after, the chemicals will wash away making the treatment useless and unsuccessful.

WHAT IF I SEE PESTS AFTER TREATMENT?

Though you will see a reduced number of Pests immediately, total elimination may take up to several days. It is common to see movement after treatment as baits and cockroach gels are designed to encourage movement towards the bait.

IS TERMITE DAMAGE COVERED BY HOME AND CONTENTS INSURANCE?

No it is not. Just about every insurance company excludes termites (vermin) from their home and contents policies. The risk of damage is so high, they refuse to cover it. That is why it is important to keep on top of Termite Inspections on an annual or 6 month basis. If you would like a FREE over the phone quote give us a call.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DO TERMITE INSPECTIONS?

It is recommended to do a Termite Inspection once a year for those south of the Tropic of Capricorn and every 6 months for those north of the that tropic. We understand remembering this can be hard as life can get very busy and sometimes this annual or 6 month check drops to the bottom of the list. So our Office Manager Daley has set up her own reminder system to make YOUR life just that little bit easier.
Daley keeps up to date and even gives you a reminder call a month before your treatment is due so you don’t have to worry!
